Pure Nintendo
The Company Man is a beautifully hand-drawn platformer that is a love letter to those that came before it. The game is challenging, primarily due to the control mechanics (or lack of). While there is a lot to love, it’s not without flaws.
FanSided
I’ve been eager to play The Company Man because it looked like a Mega Man-inspired platformer with a ridiculous amount of word puns. As both of those equate to my bread and butter, I was hyped. Now that I’ve played and beaten it I not only realized that that was exactly what I got but also that there could have been so much more.

I’ve never had an office job. But I’ve watched enough workplace comedies to learn the ins and out. I’m assuming work life would be exactly like The Company Man. On Jim’s first day at his new office job he’s tricked into upsetting the CEO who demotes him to work in the customer service department. Once he’s down in what amounts to a literal hell, he decides he’s going to change this company from the bottom up. The best part, Jim doesn’t care how many co-workers, subordinates, or middle managers he has to kill to reach his goal of overthrowing the CEO.

Switch owners can now conquer the corporate world in an all new platforming adventure!
Today marks the release of The Company Man on the Nintendo Switch eShop worldwide. As reported previously, the game sees players in the shoes of Jim, a young salaryman who sets out to overthrow his boss at the Good Water Company and become the CEO!
ScreenRant
Developed by Forust and published by Leoful, The Company Man offers players a challenging adventure as they take control of protagonist Jim and work their way up through a corrupt corporation. Each level presents new enemies and mechanics, making every section feel like a new adventure rather than a repetitive platformer process. As players reach new levels, they'll also unlock new ways to defeat their enemies.

When I think of a setting for a 2D platformer, I think of swinging on vines in a jungle, skidding along the icy ground of a winter wonderland, or furiously jumping to escape desert quicksand. Hopping from desk to desk in an office just isn’t something I’d imagine Mario doing when off saving the princess, but that’s what’s in store for poor salaryman Jim in The Company Man.
COG Connected
Menial tasks and harsh fluorescent lights, the monotony of office work can be a grind. Looking to smash through the cubical is The Company Man, an action platformer that pits you against departments of a large corporation. With your co-workers and line managers in your way, will you be able to fight the power structure and come face to face with the CEO?
80 Level
The Company Man, a 2D action-platformer developed and published by a Malaysian team of developers Forust and released in 2021, is coming to Nintendo Switch. For those unaware, The Company Man is a fun adventure where you need to climb the corporate ladder by fighting your way to the top.
Vulcan Post
At a time when many of us are WFH and missing office culture (or not, no judgement here), a game of a fitting theme was recently launched.
It’s The Company Man by indie game developer Forust Studio, and while its launch seemed timely, it’s actually a game with three years of work behind it.

PETALING JAYA: It’s no secret that many Malaysians have encountered intolerable bosses throughout their careers. At one point or another, some must have daydreamed of a day when they could dole out their frustrations directly and physically at their superiors.
Funnily enough, this is exactly the premise of a Malaysian-made video game that has been making waves in the video game market.

A pushy corporate office job can be pretty soul-crushing for most people, and while many might just be satisfied with fantasising the complete destruction of their office, one Malaysian game studio decided to make it the entire premise of their new game.
